Provincetown

Cape codnorthernProvincetownP-town, also known as P-town, was the first stopover for the British in the U.S. In addition to its historical features, the town has now been successfully transformed into New England's famous gay resort and sightseeing city, where there are not only shopping streets, ferry ports, seafood dinners, and free parties to attend. It is a small town with only 3,000 residents, which is about the number of students in a high school. The whole Cape cod two days trip, spent half a day in Provincetown, the first day is to take advantage of the night to see the important buildings, the second day is to come back to visit the commercial district and the pier during the day, both days are in Provincetown dinner.

Provincetown's main shopping area has only two main streets: main street and commercial street. we came in May, because the weather is still a little cold, is considered off-season, the store is either not open or closed early, and did not see the legendary street performers, the night can only window shopping, like lively people or pick the summer to come to the good. The people or pick the summer to come to the good. For people like me who do not like crowded people, in a casual atmosphere, stroll around the streets of the beautiful stores instead of full of contentment. Rainbow flags were flying everywhere along the roadside, and some people were distributing flyers to publicize the party in the evening in the cool atmosphere, so the name of the gay resort is true to its name.

Provincetown Pier

Why don't you take a stroll around the Provincetown Pier? There are restaurants in front of the pier, where you can enjoy a meal at the same time. Walk down to the bottom of the pier and look back at Provincetown, and you'll see the entire commercial street in front of you.

Provincetown may not be as scenic as other West Coast cities, but when the crowds are small, the marina is as open and cozy as you'll find in the U.S. Provincetown is full of art and culture, and the little stores around here are all art stores.

Watching the sea, watching the boats and browsing the art stores on the pier was full of happiness in the late spring, which was slightly cool. I happened to meet some fishing boats coming into the harbor. One of the boats was loaded with various kinds of shellfish. Spring is the time of the year for shellfish, so it seems to be a big harvest.

Looking off to the side from the harbor where the ships were moored, the house is covered with portraits of the Grandmothers, who are commemorated here.

I stayed here for a while before saying goodbye to the beautiful sea and sky view and setting off on my way home.
