坎昆市區交通方式
瑪雅博物館
博物館的室外部份有一個小的瑪雅遺跡與一個花園，範圍不是很大，但是可以稍微了解瑪雅小城邦的樣貌。
海豚沙灘
海豚沙灘是酒店區的一大熱門景點。這是對所有人免費的公共沙灘，沙灘入口處的Cancun標誌，是非常受遊客歡迎的拍照點，周圍似乎永遠排著長長等著拍照的人龍。
海豚沙灘的海水由淺至深，從觀景台看下去很美。
國王考古遺址區
海豚沙灘對面的國王考古遺址區，是坎昆市最重要的考古遺址，參觀門票55 Peso。這座城市主要是在1200年佽550年發展起來，和瑪雅博物館裡的小遺址曾經是緊密相鄰的海上貿易商業區。在瑪雅文明的發展史上，這座遺址的發展較晚，直到被西班牙征服後才被破壞消亡。
遺址內有一條主要道路，包括金字塔、小神廟和宮殿，不過解說不多。遊客相對來說算少，但麻雀雖小五臟俱全，適合想看瑪雅遺跡又不想舟車勞頓的坎昆遊客。
