費城位於賓州境內，這趟旅程是我第一次來到費城。這一天我們是從紐約出發，目的地是Washington DC。Philadelphia（費城）又稱Philly，其實是美國最古老的城市，非常具有歷史意義，在過去，費城的政經地位也曾經超越知名的紐約及波士頓。在美國獨立戰爭中，費城占有極重要的地位。美國獨立宣言就是在費城的Independence hall簽署的。
從紐約開到Washington DC，在這一天開車路上經過許多州，大概是在美國road trip一天經過最多州的一次經驗。我們臨時決定在費城中途休息，在Ishkabibble’s eatery吃了著名的Philly cheese steak。雖然僅是快速的經過，在路上還是有路過費城一些有名的景點，包括費城city hall以及在downtown area繞了一圈。
